DOMESTIC SHIPPING TERMS

All prices on this Site are in US Dollars. On occasion, prices may change without notice. The total amount due on an order shipping within the United States is not inclusive of sales tax. Sales tax is applied in accordance with applicable state and local regulations based on your shipping address. Various factors may determine the total sales tax charged on your order such as the type of item purchased, sales price, and destination of the delivery. The sales tax assessed on an order may change at any time from the time you place an order and the time of payment authorization, which may affect the calculation of sales taxes.

You are responsible for all shipping and logistics costs associated with the delivery of the products you purchase on the www.lucacasa.com Site and from our Interior Design Service. As with any shipment, risks of loss and damage can occur to the product(s) being shipped at any time during transit. While these unfortunate scenarios are out of our control, we will be there to assist you in the event of any loss or damage associated with your order, granted that you provide us with prompt notification of no longer than forty-eight (48) hours after receipt of a damaged item and no longer than forty-eight (48) hours after receipt of notification from the courier regarding the loss of a package. Once an order has been processed for shipment, it is to be considered as shipped.

Client acknowledges there are separate shipping and logistic fees that may be additional to any estimated merchandise subtotal costs. Therefore, client agrees to pay for such associated shipping and logistic fees, which includes an estimated cost between 10% to 30% or more of the overall value of a merchandise budget, in addition to any merchandise fees to cover all combined costs for in-bound vendor freight and shipping fees associated with shipping all merchandise from our vendors to our warehouse facilities and to also cover the additional associated processing costs for all warehouse receiving, storage, delivery, and white glove delivery fees, which are all required services for every project. Such cost estimates are based on domestic shipping and logistic estimates within the continental United States, excluding Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and Alaska, and such fees or estimates are subject to change.

All white glove delivery installations are performed across one (1) single installation on one (1) single designated date, unless otherwise stated or agreed upon. All spaces, rooms, and areas, are to be free of any existing furniture, decor, or ancillary items in order for our delivery team to perform its installation in accordance with our delivery policies. Clients and its agents or representatives are prohibited from accessing our warehouse locations and are prohibited from being on-site at any point of time during any of our interior design installations in accordance with the terms found in our Project Timeline and we are unable to make any exceptions to this policy. Luca Casa will not distribute or provide any individual order status or tracking information for any merchandise ordered under our interior design services or interior design turnkey projects.

Warehouse pickups by any client or any of its third parties are not permitted under any circumstances as we must provide the delivery of all orders directly to our client via any of our delivery services once all orders and services are paid for.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING TERMS

The total amount due on an order shipping outside the United States is not inclusive of any customs, duties, taxes or brokerage fees. All of these fees are fully considered your responsibility. The total cost for transportation is calculated during the time your order is processed. These transportation fees include the cost for shipping, the cost for fuel surcharges, and the cost to fully insure your order being shipped. Once we have concluded the cost associated with shipping your order to its destination, we will email you an invoice reflecting the final total including the transportation costs. As mentioned, this final invoice will include the transportation costs but is not inclusive of any customs, duties, taxes, or brokerage fees unless otherwise stated.

CLAIMS

Please understand the shared responsibilities requested in order to ensure proper receipt of every product. For insurance purposes, we ask you to be mindful that within a window of forty-eight (48) hours after receiving delivery on the item(s) you ordered, a notification shall be provide to Luca Casa in the event of receiving damaged goods.

During the unforeseen loss or damage of an order, it is important to understand our Loss & Damage Policy so that we can remedy any situation that arises. While these unfortunate scenarios are out of our control, we will be there to assist you in the event of any loss or damage associated with your order, granted that you provide us with prompt notification of no longer than forty-eight (48) hours after receipt of a damaged item and no longer than forty-eight (48) hours after receipt of notification from the courier regarding the loss of a package. Once an order has been processed for shipment, it is to be considered as shipped.

If your order has arrived damaged or has been lost in transit, please follow the ACTION procedures that follow.

ACTION

Promptly email us within forty-eight (48) hours at contact@lucacasa.com or contact us via another method as listed in our Contact section to notify us of a damaged item or loss of a package within the time frames listed above. If we do not receive notification within the time frames listed above, then we may be unable to assist you further, dependent upon the courier's own terms and policies.

If the item you received is damaged, please take photographs of (1) the damaged item, (2) the packaging materials used inside, and (3) images of the outside box. We will need to receive all three image scenarios to file a claim on our end with the courier. Please email the images to contact@lucacasa.com.

During the scenario in which a package has been misplaced or lost by the courier, please contact us within forty-eight (48) hours so that we can collect any additional details that may be available from the courier.

Rest assured, your damaged or lost order will be treated with priority and we will provide you with thorough communication regarding the status and upcoming expectations pertaining to your damaged or lost product(s).
